Check the Domain
Binance's domain is binance.com. Verify: correct spelling, .com ending, HTTPS with lock icon in browser.
Common fakes: binnance.com (extra n), b1nance.com (1 instead of i), binance-login.com (added parts), binance.cc/.xyz (different suffix).
Use Binance Verify
Binance offers an official verification tool where you can input URLs, emails, or phone numbers to verify if they're official. Find it in the app's Security Center.
Check SSL Certificate
Click the lock icon in the browser address bar — the certificate should be issued to a Binance entity.
Safe Access Tips
Bookmark it — After confirming the correct URL, add it to browser bookmarks. Always access from bookmarks, never search each time.
Don't click search ads — Top "ad" results in search engines may be scammer-purchased. Click organic results only.
Don't click social media links — Links shared in chat groups or by friends (whose accounts may be compromised) need verification.
Use the app instead of browser — The app is verified authentic software without domain spoofing risk.
Set Up Anti-Phishing Code
- Open APP
- Go to Security Center
- Find "Anti-Phishing Code"
- Set a memorable character combination
Every subsequent email from Binance will include this code. Emails without it are fake — delete them and never click their links.
If You Accidentally Visit a Fake Site
Didn't enter any info — Just close the page, no harm done.
Entered credentials — Immediately log into the real account via APP (not browser), change password, check login history. If Google Authenticator is bound and you didn't share the code, you're probably okay.
Made a transfer on the fake site — Contact Binance support immediately with all relevant info. Also file a police report.
